Viva Las Vegas!
What a lovely view from the 24th story of Circus, Circus
facing down The Strip. Amazing colors, but damn if it ain't bright out there in the
morning. Best to close the curtain and sleep late when in Vegas we think. Especially after
staying out till 3am or so. We love those 24 hour a day breakfasts...
Back down The Strip today for more of the Freak Shows that we didn't get to take in yesterday. It's a big Strip out there these days. So...
|
- Showering Rain Forests inside of MGM Grand.
- New York, New York! Desi's fave. An amazing eyeful in itself. Authentic down to the
steam that seeps out of the fake manhole covers inside!
- Fire Breathing Dragons at Excalibur.
- Enormous Egyptian Statues inside the huge Luxor pyramid.
- David Cassidy in EFX at the MGM. (Save your money! This show blows! What, Greg
Brady wasn't available?)
...And then back home by 2am, wherein Brad finally collected enough sheckles and chutzpah, to hit the $2 Blackjack tables while Desi knocked off "early". By 4am he made it back to the room, still with his shirt on, and happy as heck to be in Vegas. The late night dealers were exceptionally friendly, offering help and dirty looks as warnings when one was about to make a stupid move. They saved Brad quite a few of those sheckles, and so, it'll be nice to ride home tomorrow with a few dollars still in our pockets...We shall return...
